This is just a thought that me and a few classmates had during a discussion. I have no idea how stocks or the market works personally, its the kind of stuff i leave to the big guys and my bank to deal with. What i want to know is that when the AI bubble pops, what would happen? Someone suggested that because the majority of leaders (Nvidia, Microsoft, Google) are all propped up because of AI, the AI bubble popping would cause them to collapse which would then cause the entire market to collapse sending us into a depression again. This seems scarily feasible to me so i was wondering what your opinions on the matter would be.

**Shareholder Return Potential:** KB Securities projects that Samsung Electronics could generate up to 600 trillion won (approx. $452.4 billion) for shareholder returns over the next three years, more than four times the current three-year period's estimate, assuming the company continues returning 50% of its free cash flow (FCF). **DRAM Supply Constraints:** The surge in high-bandwidth memory (HBM) demand has created structural supply constraints for conventional DRAM, as HBM production requires over three times more wafer capacity. The share of wafer capacity allocated to conventional DRAM is expected to drop from 73% in 2025 to 59% in 2027, leading to potential shortages and extended lead times, such as DDR5 lead times reaching up to 52 weeks. **Price and Revenue Growth:** HBM selling prices in 2027 are projected to rise by over 100% year-over-year, with HBM4 expected to increase from 40% of Samsung's HBM revenue this year to 80% next year. **Earnings Forecasts:** Samsung's annual operating profit is estimated to reach 368 trillion won in 2026 and 555 trillion won in 2027, driven by tight memory supply-demand conditions that are expected to persist through 2028. **Market Caution:** Despite record-high PC DRAM prices and strong forecasts, some caution remains due to already-elevated NAND flash prices and stock market volatility driven by profit-taking. https://biz.chosun.com/en/en-finance/2026/10/01/E4IYTOB5EVHTJCKNLEWBOUQA5Q/?outputType=amp https://www.businesskorea.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=277996

Elon Musk on Monday pledged to give one share of his company SpaceX to “every kid in America” next year. The offer arrived a day after artificial intelligence company [Anthropic](https://apnews.com/article/anthropic-shares-public-benefit-8181332fbbc48f2ef9447cef096f14de) announced in a social media post that it will commit 5% of its shares to a new “public benefit” fund. Here's the thing with the current state of the stock market. Let me just rant for a minute. First, everyone I know uses AI... ChatGPT or Claude. I am early 30s working a professional career with friends that are all in professional careers. Everyone of us, uses AI. We all either pay for it individually, or use a corporate account that pays for it. Every single friend I have, and let me brag a little, I have a lot of friends. Even my friend that him and his dad have a two man law firm. They pay a monthly fee for legal AI or whatever it is. On top of, no one is unhappy with the AI product. Nobody is saying they are going to stop paying. Second, the idea that the AI buildout is going to fall flat in the next month because Coreweave's debt is supposedly unsustainable is absolutely silly. They have 130 billion is backlog. Now is it all going to be converted to revenue? who knows. But the fact that people, who have day jobs doing god knows what, is going to come on the internet and say that Coreweaves backlog is not going to convert is absolutely hilarious. Will 100% of it convert to revenue? maybe not. Will 0% of it convert to revenue? Of course not. This is not a situation where all of a sudden we wake up one day and Coreweave says: "Yeah all that backlog we told you guys about? Its all gone. nobody wants our compute power anymore".... Its like going to the doctor and the doctor saying you need to exercise more to lose weight and youre like, no its just genetic. Like listen to the people who know whats going on. The people who think this is all a big conspiracy theory are the exact type of people you dont listen to. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is real. Its here today. Third, everyone reading this better hope to whatever god they pray to, that it is real. I dont know if anyone realizes that the entire United State

What is the breaking news exactly? Oil prices, high inflation due to war, rate hikes, circular AI spending. We knew all of this already. Now suddenly Chinese competitors are the latest existential threat? Just like Deepseek? What has actually changed in the fundamentals that prompted the sudden sell-off? "Investors" suddenly decided AI financing costs were too much? Did they not see inflation or rate hikes coming all this while? The war has been going on for weeks now. I'm not saying the risks aren't real. I'm saying the market seems to be recycling old concerns and dressing them up as breaking news to justify a massive sell-off. Is this real or are we going to look like fools for selling a week from now? I am going to hold whatever happens in the next weeks, I just hope I am fucking right about this gut feeling.

It’s not secret that insider trading laws don’t apply to members of congress, and seeing as they are on the daily receiving vital information about the economy before the rest of the nation does, senators can be some pretty damn lucrative investors. If you haven’t already heard it, there’s a running joke that if you want to get rich, just copy Nancy Pelosi’s trades, one of the most notorious investors on capital hill. In fact, I just now found out there’s a whole website dedicated to exactly that, and according to said website, Nanci Pelosi’s seen a return of +1011.46% since 2014, three times the market index. So it seems like it really is a good strategy, and an easy one at that. It almost feels too good to be true. So before I start to entertain this ever more tantalizing idea, I’m wondering what you guys think, bc yall know a hell of a lot more than me about this. Is this really as good of an idea as it seems? Or is there some catch that I’m not seeing?

Seems like its biggest revenue and profit driver are selling satellites? I mean it would make more sense investing in something like Starlink which can generate recurring and predictable revenue from satellite services rather than a satellite maker. By MDA Space's own estimate, there will be 50k satellites launched between 2025 and 2034. That's like 5k satellites a year on average. Per Google AI, there were 4,522 satellites launched inn 2025. Doesn't seem like any explosive growth is coming. Or do Redditors just not read company filings and blindly invest based on feelings?

So I've been following The Platform Group for a while and honestly I'm a bit surprised more people aren't talking about it? The stock fell a lot this year (over €5 back in February and it's now under €1), but the actual business didn't fall apart. Revenue was up 39% last year to €728m, and Q1 this year was up another 51%. Q2 was weaker on sales, but they cut costs and EBITDA actually went up. Management has also backed off the acquisition spree to focus on paying down debt, which is what everyone was asking them to do. I know that there was some critical press coverage in June and there is still a fair bit of debt from the pharma acquisition, but at this price it feels like the market is assuming the worst. If the second half of the year goes the way management says it will, I think there's a lot of room to recover. Curious what you all think. Am I missing something, or is this just being ignored?

Credit: @MarcelLarsen\_ on X $BULL dropped 19% today on a House committee report. Before you panic, read what's actually in it, because a lot of it doesn't add up. 1) The committee went quiet for almost two years. It first wrote to Webull in December 2024. Webull's annual report, filed in April, already told the SEC it hadn't received any further requests from the committee in more than a year. Webull says it heard nothing for 20+ months and was never asked to clarify anything before the report came out. 2) It went to CNBC first. The committee shared its findings exclusively with a TV network before the report was released, and the stock was down \~29% before the opening bell. Reuters said that morning it couldn't independently verify CNBC's report. 3) None of this is new. Webull went public in April 2025, four months after the committee's first letter, and its China R&D subsidiary, headcount included, has been in every annual report it has filed with the SEC since. You can't mask something you print in your 20-F. 4) It's all "may" and "could." Systems that may be exposed, data that could be accessed. None of the coverage cites a single actual case of Beijing touching a US customer's data. Webull's filings say US customer data sits on US servers and can't leave the US or be accessed by non-US staff without US permission and oversight. 5) It started on the wrong foot. The committee's December 2024 letter, the one that kicked this off, called Webull Financial LLC a "PRC company." Webull Financial is a US broker dealer registered with the SEC. What the report doesn't do: ban anything or fine anyone. It's a findings report. No SEC, FINRA or Treasury action has been announced. What hasn't changed: Webull is headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, and it's the Tampa Bay Rays' first ever jersey p

I keep seeing posts acting like a company approaching $6 trillion automatically means the market has lost its mind. I think people seriously underestimate how often this same argument has repeated throughout stock-market history. Imagine going into a room full of professional analysts in 2000 and telling them that within 18 years we’d have our first $1 trillion public company, and not long after that we’d be talking about companies approaching $6 trillion. Most people probably would’ve thought you were insane. Go back another decade or two and the numbers become even more ridiculous from their perspective. Yet every time the market reaches one of these supposedly impossible milestones, people eventually accept it as normal and move their imaginary ceiling higher. There’s also a basic mathematical point that gets overlooked. Market caps compound in percentages, not in neat trillion-dollar increments. Going from $1T to $2T requires a 100% gain. $2T to $3T requires 50%. $3T to $4T requires 33%. $4T to $5T requires 25%. $5T to $6T requires only 20%. At $10T, adding another trillion requires only a 10% increase. So as companies become larger, crossing each additional trillion-dollar milestone actually requires a smaller percentage move. A $1 trillion increase sounds enormous, but eventually it can represent a fairly normal year of stock appreciation. We’re also not talking about a bunch of random companies suddenly becoming worth trillions. The companies occupying this range have generally spent years or decades dominating enormous industries, building global businesses, ecosystems, infrastructure, intellectual property and massive earnings bases. None of this means a $5T or $6T company is automatically fairly valued. NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft or anyone else can absolutely become overvalued. But that’s an ar

I've been thinking this for a while but I guess want to know what you all think. Since the 2009 low QQQ has returnd 1154% and SPY has returned 503%. Now consider for this to happen again over the next 18 years we are going to need to have companies becoming progressively more valuable over time. For example, the current highest market cap is Nvidia, near 5T. So are we thinking to achieve returns similar to the last 18 years we will need many new companies at 5T or less market caps or will we see some companies move on to hit market caps of 10T, 20T possibly up to 50T in the next 15 years? In my opinion the only way we see the index's grow at any rate close to what we've all been told to expect we will need to see companies market caps surpass the 20T marker in the next 10 years. GOOG to 50T?

Which US stocks would you choose for long-term investing (10+ years)? Hi everyone, I’m planning to start investing in the US market with a long-term horizon of around \*\*10–15 years\*\*, and I’d like to hear opinions from experienced investors here. I’m mainly looking for high-quality companies with strong fundamentals, sustainable growth, good cash flow, and a competitive advantage, rather than short-term trades or highly speculative stocks. Some companies I’m currently considering are: \- Microsoft (MSFT) \- Alphabet (GOOGL) \- Nvidia (NVDA) \- Apple (AAPL) \- AMD I’m also considering simply putting a large portion into \*\*VOO/S&P 500\*\* instead of trying to pick individual winners. If you were investing today and planning to hold for 10+ years: 1. Which 3–5 US stocks would you choose? 2. Which stocks do you think are currently too expensive despite being great companies? 3. Would you prefer something like **80% VOO + 20% individual stocks** or mostly individual stocks? 4. Are there any less obvious companies you think have strong long-term potential? 5. What would make you avoid any of the companies I listed? I’m interested in the reasoning behind your choices rather than just ticker symbols. For context, my goal is long-term wealth creation, not short-term trading. I’m comfortable with market volatility and plan to keep investing regularly. Would love to hear different perspectives.

The rare earth sector saw significant rallies during geopolitical tensions, last last year and early this year. Since then, many rare earth stocks have been trending downward. I've been watching the sector for several months and feel the recent price is an attractive entry point. A few weeks ago, I started building some positions in **UUUU** and **MP**, and plan to continue accumulating over time. The bull and bear cases have been covered here and other investment forums, but to reiterate a few: Bull * The West is actively working to reduce dependence on China's rare earth supply chain. * Demand for strategic materials is expected to grow, drive by AI, defense, robotics, etc. Risks * Rare earth prices are highly volatile. * China still dominates much of the supply chain and has big influence over pricing. Curious what other think about the rare earth sector. Anyone started buying them? What are your favorite rare earth plays and why?
